“Harry Brown” is a movie that pulls no punches. Harry (played by Michael Caine) is a pensioner who seems to have lived in the same Council estate in urban Britain for some time. He becomes fed up with constantly living in fear of the risks and potential violence around him daily in his community. A series of tragedies that involve himself and those closest to him make the violent drug-driven culture of his community too much to bear and as a result he decides to take his own action. Think “This is England” and “Trainspotting” meet Dirty Harry. This is excellent British drama.
